For more than twenty years, Appletree Nurseries has been at the heart of early years education in South Wales, providing a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment for children aged six weeks to five years. With a passion for excellence in childcare, we’ve proudly supported hundreds of families through these precious early stages of life.

Each of our nurseries — located in Cardiff, Swansea, and Magor. — share the same values: kindness, trust, and a commitment to helping every child thrive. Your child’s key worker will work closely with you so that he/she can learn as much about your child as possible and share details about their day. Our communications App makes it easy for us to share developmental records, photos and messages

Healthy meals and a focus on wellbeing

We provide nutritious, balanced meals and snacks prepared daily, and we actively promote children’s physical, emotional, and social wellbeing throughout their day.

Nappies and wipes are provided. Something less for you to carry and remember on arrival.

We can adapt settling in sessions to suit you and your child and ensure a smooth transition into nursery. We will learn about your child’s current routine, likes and dislikes and provide consistent home from home care as much as possible.

Our experienced key workers are committed to creating strong, nurturing bonds with their key-children and help them feel supported at all times. Your child’s key worker will communicate thoroughly with you every day and share all information about their experiences.

Our Nurseries

Cardiff (Llanishen)

The service is located within the grounds of Llanishen Fach Primary School, surrounded by abundant greenery. This setting provides families with easy access and a welcoming environment in the heart of the community.

Swansea

A stunning Norwegian church overlooking the waterfront. Generous room sizes, featuring vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. Our friendly Swansea staff are very welcoming to all.

Magor (Wales 1)

A warm, community-focused nursery, purposely designed with ample space for children to flourish and grow. It features an extra playroom for active play and a spacious garden complete with a mini track for bikes.
